In technical terms, Gargoyles are a smaller, faster, and more aggressive variation of the traditional Golem. Though lacking the brute strength and mass of their larger counterparts, they make up for it with agility, ferocity, and an unsettling presence—especially when stalking the rooftops or shadows of a city at night, their eyes aglow with eager menace.
Often crafted with aesthetic precision, Gargoyles are as much works of art as they are instruments of war. Their sculpted forms—winged, clawed, and grotesquely beautiful—make them popular among wealthy summoners and temple-guardians, particularly in the Sand Kingdoms, where magic and symbolism often intertwine.
Yet do not mistake elegance for mercy. When unleashed, a Gargoyle is a tireless predator, swift and unrelenting, particularly dangerous in narrow alleys or confined spaces where its mobility gives it a brutal edge.
"It might be somewhat appealing to look at—after all, it is a work of art. But only its master gets to do that. Everyone else is too busy running."
