What Does the Queen’s Blade Bring?

We’re kicking off our new wave of regular releases with a series of Reinforcements Packs designed to expand profiles and tactical options across the four major factions.

And who better to lead the charge than the faction most notorious for sprinting headfirst into danger?

That’s right — the first pack in this new series is the Reinforcements Pack: Queen’s Blade, adding a trio of deadly fighters to the Coalition of Thenion.

To be fair… who else? Wherever conflict flares on Calad, you can be sure a Thenrin is already in the midst.

This pack brings a host of fresh tricks, tools, and personalities to the Coalition. Let’s meet them.

Bladebrethren Elite

Reinforcements don’t just bring new tools — this time, they bring a new leader candidate.

Bladebrethren Elites are among the most highly trained Thenrin, veterans who’ve proved their merit in countless duels and risen to the rank of Queen’s Guard. Many served as duelists or mercenaries before entering the Guard, which is why the profile resembles an evolved, sharpened Swashbuckler.

Lightly armed but frighteningly nimble, this representative of the Elites has the precision and cunning to tie down — and ultimately outmaneuver — even the mightiest champions of other factions.

Her signature gear showcases Thenrin craft and ambidexterity:

  • A military rapier, a swift cut-and-thrust blade ideal for outmaneuvering rival fighters.
  • A parrying dagger, perfect for trapping and redirecting enemy attacks, and delivering extra strikes against knocked-down foes — something Rogues excel at.

Fighting in the Netherrealm is a dirty, ruthless business, and the Elite’s stratagems reflect this perfectly. Her options encourage aggressive, decisive engagements.

The standout is Vicious Opportunism, which dramatically increases melee lethality by adding +6 Power and granting Cleave against knocked-down opponents, while Disharten can steal enemy Activation Points, giving you valuable activation superiority.

If you want to break through hardened defenses, she’s your champion.

Hired Blade

Everyone’s favourite assassin-archetype slips into the Coalition ranks — and at a shockingly affordable 17 points.

Trying to swamp the enemy with Stealth tokens? Want your opponent guessing which token is which? Want them wondering where Nightshade is lurking?

Say no more: Hired Blades have you covered.

And between us… it doesn’t really matter which one is Nightshade. These mercenaries hit just as hard, and they’re more than capable of erasing that pesky Vizier or Hierophant from the table in a single, well-placed strike.

Of course, Thenrin are among the most individualistic and passionate peoples on Calad, so it’s no surprise that they offer their talents to patrons far beyond the shaky Coalition. The Hired Blade is a semi-neutral model.
Hire at your own risk — or delight.

Thenrin Swashbuckler (Alternative Sculpt)

A glorious alternative sculpt of the well-known Thenrin Swashbuckler, one of the most underappreciated profiles in our opinion.

You already know what they do: nothing subtle, but always reliable. A good Swashbuckler can pin down the toughest enemy fighters for several turns — and that becomes even nastier when a Bladebrethren Elite commands the raid party.

Under her direction, these talented yet chaotic fighters become 16-point nightmares, darting into enemy lines and threatening opponents far heavier than themselves. Combine their Rogue ability with Vicious Opportunism, and suddenly their Power surges to 18, with the potential to deal double wounds.

But be warned… your opponent may actually get disheartened and hesitate before accepting the next fight.

A New Edge for a Demanding Faction

The Coalition has long been one of the most challenging factions in Eldfall Chronicles — a force that, due to their high damage and low resilience, rewards patience, positioning, and surgical precision.

This Reinforcements Pack adds a welcome new perspective: a more direct, daring, yet still cunning approach to Thenrin gameplay.
