Imperial Banner Takes the Field!
The time for new reinforcements is nigh!
The next reinforcements to reach the battlegrounds of Calad are the elite envoys of the Empire of Soga - the Reinforcements Pack: Imperial Banner charges onto the field with two heavily armored warriors accompanied by an itinerant monk.
Travel in Calad is seldom safe, so a mix of steel and faith can go a very long way.
Imperial Banner reinforces the Empire with unwavering defensive strength, renewed resilience, and retaliatory martial prowess.
Great Guard

Imperial lords trust only their closest and most seasoned retainers with missions of critical importance. A well-placed elite warrior, accompanied by a few attendants, can shift the tides of war more than entire armies clashing in the field.
Like the Coalition before them, the Empire now also boasts a new leader candidate. A resolute, defensive counterpart to the Clan Champion’s aggressive command.
Speed is not the Great Guard’s forte, but that becomes irrelevant the moment she marches into battle clad in one of the heaviest armors in the game, bolstered by elite reactive might.
With ARM 7 and 3 HP, she stands among the most durable characters in Eldfall Chronicles. Your opponent will need a very specialized plan to chip that lacquer over the metal plates.

She is the first human fighter with the Watchful Trait, which doubles her Activation Points in reaction, allowing her to hold ground against multiple foes during reactive turns confidently.
Armed with a long naginata polearm, paired with Impede, she slows anything daring enough to enter her Reach. If that wasn’t enough, her Stratagems further enhance the defensive potency of her allies, with Overcome Pain even restoring HP to non-Incapacitated allies.
Great Guards are an ideal heavy infantry for controlling objectives and choke points on the map.
Bushi Attendant

Next is the humble yet honorable Bushi Attendant, a loyal squire with a refined new look.
Attendants are among the cheapest models in the game, and among the most overlooked. Their attributes aren’t flashy, but they can do almost anything, if not quite as brilliantly as specialist elites.
With ARM 4 and 2 HP, they are surprisingly sturdy for their cost, and come equipped with both Shortbow and Shortsword, supporting the combat from afar or up close.
In the thick of battle, they can screen allies, hold objectives, draw enemy attention, exhaust enemy Activation Points, or prey upon defenseless targets.

Under the Great Guard’s leadership, their defensive stats and armor can climb into elite territory -and that’s before we even mention the upcoming new Upgrades that suit attendants exceptionally well.
Scholar of the True Word

Last but not least, the Scholar of the True Word joins the Banner - a Rishinkyo practitioner and itinerant monk travelling alongside our two warriors.
The monk brings a valuable new support role to the Empire, and even to other factions - for the journey towards enlightenment does not recognize the borders of mortal nations. (In other words: the monks are semi-neutral.)
Through enchantments such as Regrowth, Overgrowth, and Stoneskin, the Scholar can strengthen allies, reinforce armor, and provide limited healing.
Other spells can remove states like Weakened, helping your warriors endure longer engagements and bounce back more easily with the use of First Aid.

As a monk who often braves the wilderness alone, he is sturdier than one might expect, capable of defending himself should the fighting close in.
The Empire Reasserts Its Battlefield Mastery
The Empire has long been the paragon of well-armored forces, and the Imperial Banner reaffirms their superiority in versatility, armory, and defense.
But where previous Empire strategies leaned toward straightforward engagements, this Reinforcements Pack introduces models that allow formations and field control, synergizing with nearly every playstyle the faction can offer.
