Yet, more often than not, their grand journeys veer into less glamorous skirmishes—fighting under the banners of mercenary companies, scraping by between dreams of glory.

Unlike in many other cultures, ambidexterity is relatively common among the Thenian peoples, a trait that lends itself naturally to their martial traditions. Thenrin swashbucklers, in particular, are celebrated for their grace and agility in battle, famed for wielding paired weapons with fluid precision and equal deadliness in both hands.
