The world of Calad is brimming with life—and with other things that mimic it. Here, not all that moves breathes, and not all that breathes was born.
Among the craggy peaks, across the golden dunes, and deep within forgotten ruins, dwell creatures both wondrous and dreadful. Some are wild and ancient, native to the land long before the rise of civilizations. Others are crafted by skilled hands and imbued with mana, the arcane energy that flows through all things. These constructs, though not truly alive, walk, guard, fight, and sometimes even think—bound to the will of their creator or summoner.
Many such entities are summonable, drawn into our world through binding rituals by those versed in conjuration arts. Some are fleeting—a flash of claws and elemental fury—while others linger, serving as steadfast companions or devastating weapons of war. These creatures originate from distant places: deep jungles, volatile rift-scars, or even otherworldly realms like the Void. Some are beasts twisted by the mana-rich environments they inhabit. Others are arcanely shaped beings, entities of pure elemental essence, thought to be as old as magic itself.
The learned arcanists and summoners of Calad often classify these creatures by their elemental nature, as each element of mana seems to call forth its own peculiar bestiary.

CREATURES
Yet despite the catalogs kept by scholars and summoners alike, much remains unknown. Creatures wander the uncharted places of the world, lurking in cursed hollows, breathing in rift-scarred wastelands, or sleeping beneath the roots of mountains. Some appear only during certain lunar phases, others emerge through mana ruptures or forbidden rituals, and a few seem to respond to collective fear or memory, as though born of belief itself.
In Eldfall Chronicles, every encounter may unveil a new legend. Whether crafted, summoned, born, or beyond understanding, the beings of Calad are as varied as the elements themselves—and just as powerful.
