Colossus
The term Colossus refers to the largest and most imposing of arcane constructs. Towering over buildings and men alike, a Colossus is often shaped in the likeness of gods or giants, formed from carved stone, runed bronze, or other resilient metals, and powered by immense soulstones set deep within their frames.
Though they share the same principle as golems—a body formed around a magical core—the sheer scale of the Colossi makes them rare and difficult to create, reserved for only the greatest summoners or ancient defensive relics of cities long lost. Their presence is both a technical marvel and a terrifying sight.
“Much like any other construct, they can be destroyed by either overwhelming force or striking their soulstone through weak points—like the eye slits. When it comes to the Colossi, however, both options are... highly unachievable.”
Note: Construct – an artificial creature imbued with mana. Most commonly crafted by arcane artisans (summoners) of the Sand Kingdoms. Constructs are not sentient.
